Description:

New in the box

Make - Marlin

Model - 1894 Limited

Operation - Lever action

Caliber - .45 Colt

Barrel - 20" Octagon

Finish - Blue

Stocks - Walnut Marlin produced its first lever-action repeating rifle as the Model 1881, made for powerful hunting rounds. The Model 1889 that followed was the first lever action rifle to have a solid top with side ejection of spent cartridges. This model was chambered for popular pistol calibers of the time. Design improvements to the Model 1889, such as a one-piece trigger and a two-piece firing pin to prevent the rifle from firing unless the finger lever was fully closed, resulted in the Model 1894. There are also several "Limited Edition" Marlin 1894 rifles. They were pre-drilled for a scope base and included a solid, rubber recoil pad and Octagon barrel. There is a unique barrel stamping on these rifles which is denoted as Marlin 1894 COWBOY LIMITED. This rifle is chambered in .45 Long Colt to match calibers with single action revolvers.

I have an ATI officers model 7 1, good entry level 1911. The factory mag is crap though so I would recommend replacing with Wilson Combat. Some people also recommend swapping out recoil spring & rod for Number. Not bad for the money
